“Flesh and Chrome” Artshow Aims to Offend and Entice  ab delivers with a violent, yet humorous style.    Nudity, violence and controversy are just a few words that hardly encapsulate the work of Alex Barrera, aka “ab”.  A product of the seedy, drug fueled South Florida scene, ab grew up sketching on everything and anything.  He developed his talents and started producing work for magazines such as GADA, Ocean Drive Magazine, Miami New Times and CityLink Magazine.  His work can be seen currently in "I Want Your Skull" and the Bear and Bird gallery above Tate's during the Skull Sessions show.   Scantily clad, heavily armed vixens, castrated nazis,  confrontation with authorities and unholy churches being desecrated comprise most of ab's focus in “Flesh and Chrome”.  This is truly a collection that'll have people talking or at the very least taking notice.
All are one of a kind original pieces and are all for sale at reasonable prices.  Prints will be available at the show.

medium: digital illustration on stretched canvas

Extra: The opening show will include a special feature, a silent auction for one of ab’s earlier works, I’m a real boy”.
